DESCRIPTION:Jacob Green is a Blues Singer Songwriter who has been described as a modern day rambler\, who brings a fresh approach to Roots Music. He’s an OneManBand & Multi-String Instrumentalist\, performing on Acoustic Guitar\, Dobro\, Cigar Box Guitar\, Banjo & Mandolin while simulatneously playing Stomp Box & Foot Tambourine for percussion and Harmonica for lead. Orginally from Wisconsin\, Jacob has toured in 40 states in the U.S. total\, averaging 140 shows a year\, and now resides in the Green Mountain State of Vermont.\nHis love for music began at young age\, at 10 years old he began playing Violin in school orchestra\, then starting a punk band as a freshman in High School\, and even experimented with hip hop by the time he graduated. Jacob has written original material since the young age of 12\, and at the age of 21\, he got his first acoustic guitar and attempted to make a living at what he was most passionate about\, Music. \nHe’s had Musical Homes all over the country\, from Northern California to Colorado\, or Southern Appalachia States and of course where it all began in his home State of Wisconsin\, Jacob has been on a musical journey for the better part of the last decade\, and he’s got strong back catalog of music to show for it. \nHe’s also collaborated with musicians from all over the country\, leading Wisconsin based bands: Jacob Green & The Grit and River Water Tribe\, or playing with a combination of musicians and going simply by “Jacob Green & Friends“.
