Their music centers around acoustic versions of classic rock tunes\, folk rock and country rock tunes intermingled with folk\, bluegrass\, reggae\, calypso\, blues and jazz tunes. The duo’s primary influences include the Grateful Dead\, Bob Dylan\, the Beatles\, Pink Floyd\, Led Zeppelin\, the Band\, Neil Young\, Van Morrison\, Emmy Lou Harris\, and Joni Mitchell to name a few.\nThe Sweetbloods consist of Phil and Janet Sanguedolce. Phil is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has been performing professionally for over 45 years.  He has played guitar\, keyboards\, fiddle\, bass\, and pedal steel guitar in various bands in the Midwest and New England.  Janet is talented visual and ceramic artist who has been performing professionally as a guitarist/vocalist for the past twelve years.   Her solid rhythm arrangements provide a strong backdrop to Phil’s colorfully polished guitar artistry. DESCRIPTION:  \n \nRandy started playing guitar on the front steps of his home in West Burke Vermont in 1973.\nAt nine years old\, under the watchful eye of his dad Francis\, Randy after mastering the basics\, would find himself at\nhouse parties jamming and stealing licks from anyone he could.\nAt 12 he was playing in local bands and at 13 Randy played live on the radio at WDEV on\nDick Longfellow’s Saturday morning music show with Bill and the Rhythm Riders.\nOnce he entered high school he played with local bands such as Southern Comfort and Easy Country.\nIn 1983 he joined the iconic group called the Green Mountain Band.\nWhile with the Green Mountain Band the group opened for such stars as Patty Lovelace\,\nRicky Van Shelton\, and Micky Gilley.\nThe group played at most every club in the NEK and NH.\nDuring this time Randy recorded a solo album called Takin Chances.\nAfter writing and doing all the instrumentation for the nine song recording at  the Sound Design Recording Studio\nin Brattelboro co-produced with Jim Miller Productions\, he received air play and interviews at radio stations\nthroughout the state of Vermont with his song “Nobody Gets the Blues” breaking inside the top 40 charts at WNSO Radio.\nThe Green Mountain Band disbanded in 1994 and gave way for a new endeavor for Randy called “Milestone”\nThe Milestone band played the NEK and opened up for Jeff Carson (The Ride) at the Caledonia County Fair in 1996.\nIn 2000 the band came to an end and Randy took a break before being coaxed back into music in 2004 by the creation of the Krazy Kountry Band.\nRandy enjoys playing all kinds of music but loves pure country the most and has blended a tasteful style based on the licks of many players combined.

You never know where Nobby is going to go\, but they somehow never miss a beat and transition right along with him” … George Keener \nNobby Reed has always been about playing the guitar. Like so many others of his generation\, he was introduced to the instrument during his early years in a magical time when some of the world’s greatest electric guitarists were making their presence known. Jimi Hendrix\, Eric Clapton\, Carlos Santana and Duane Allman\, just to name a few\, all had one thing in common; they were playing the blues. They were emulating their heroes and playing tunes by Robert Johnson\, Willie Dixon\, BB King\, Muddy Waters\, John Lee Hooker and Howlin’ Wolf. \nMany youngsters picked up guitars in those days with varying degrees of effort and success\, but Nobby was different. He didn’t just pick up the guitar\, he became the guitar. The guitar became part of him\, and Nobby played the blues. He learned how to make the guitar do the talking\, how to make it sing\, how to make it cry from the depths of his soul and rejoice with the angels. You have only to watch other guitarists when they are watching him to realize you are witnessing something you just don’t see or hear every day. This man can sweep an audience away to another place with his guitar playing alone. \n

DESCRIPTION:“Wow!! Some amazing fret board work….and only a small glimpse of overall talent from Nobby Reed and the band that evening. I played a few songs with the them at On Tap a couple of weeks ago and then got to sit back and witness one of the most incredible guitar shows I have ever seen. From slow to fast and on so many genres (blues\, rock\, funk & psychedelic) and all filled with incredibly creative pieces and executed as few can do. Eric and Ray always holding steady! You never know where Nobby is going to go\, but they somehow never miss a beat and transition right along with him” … George Keener \nNobby Reed has always been about playing the guitar. Like so many others of his generation\, he was introduced to the instrument during his early years in a magical time when some of the world’s greatest electric guitarists were making their presence known. Jimi Hendrix\, Eric Clapton\, Carlos Santana and Duane Allman\, just to name a few\, all had one thing in common; they were playing the blues. They were emulating their heroes and playing tunes by Robert Johnson\, Willie Dixon\, BB King\, Muddy Waters\, John Lee Hooker and Howlin’ Wolf. \nMany youngsters picked up guitars in those days with varying degrees of effort and success\, but Nobby was different. He didn’t just pick up the guitar\, he became the guitar. The guitar became part of him\, and Nobby played the blues. He learned how to make the guitar do the talking\, how to make it sing\, how to make it cry from the depths of his soul and rejoice with the angels. You have only to watch other guitarists when they are watching him to realize you are witnessing something you just don’t see or hear every day. This man can sweep an audience away to another place with his guitar playing alone. \n
